two portraits, one of my dad when he was young with his accordion and the other is Mark, the boyfriend.
It took me áges to finish them but I am quite happy with the result : )
They are both done with acrylic paint, dad on canvas and Mark on wood.

Hats
Found this picture hiding itself somewhere in my computer archive, its an "old" Rins (not saying she's old, but if you know the chronological history of her hair colour you would agree with me ;) ) behind her our friend Jesse; owner of hats.

lady luck

I feel very flattered and proud to be one of illustrators for the gorgeous e-zine "Tomate de Arbol" issue 2, with the theme 'Luck'.
Btw, through this e-zine I discovered Issuu.com which is a brilliant concept and I definitely want to know more about this. I can imagine its one of the best 50 websites.

Nordeville citizens
As you might know already: sometimes there is a third artist visiting over to work in the studio as well, her name is Graça. And when she's there she sits at my table and we combine our strengths ;) in what we call "Nordeville". We love drawing characters together, which results in the images above. In the coming weeks we will transfer them (and more of those heads) onto paper and textile, making use of the silkscreen studio here in Amsterdam. Would be nice working there again, so really looking forward to that!

Large Drawing
"EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE A THOUGHT BECOMES AN ORNAMENT ON THE WALL"
I've been (and still am) making some large drawings in our studio. Above: the first one.
It's really though to make a good photo of it, because the graphite reflects everything!
Drawing, graphite on paper, 100 x 70 cm.
(Also posted these on my personal blog.)
